Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the personal data we process when you use ueiinc.com, contact us by email or phone, request a quote, place an order, or receive our updates. It is written for business customers, suppliers and their staff. We process personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and the rules of the free zone in which we are licensed.

What we collect
We keep data to the minimum a trading relationship needs.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not collect special-category data such as health or biometric information.
How we use it
- Quotes and orders: to identify parts, prepare quotations, fulfil orders, arrange delivery and issue invoices.
- Compliance: to screen counterparties against applicable sanctions and export-control lists, verify end use, and keep the records our licence and the law require.
- Support: to answer questions about parts, warranties and returns.
- Updates: to send stock alerts and product news when you have asked for them. Every message includes a way to opt out.
- Site operation: to keep the website secure and understand which pages are used.
Our legal bases are performance of a contract or steps before one, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interest in running a trading business, and your consent where we rely on it (for example, for marketing).
How long we keep it
Enquiry data that does not lead to an order is kept for 24 months. Order, invoice and compliance records are kept for the period required by UAE commercial, tax and trade-control rules, which is generally at least five years from the end of the relevant transaction. Marketing preferences are kept until you opt out.
Security
Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it. We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable cloud providers. No system is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the UAE Data Office as the law requires.
Your rights
Subject to the PDPL, you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, withdraw consent, and receive a copy of data you provided in a portable format. Write to contact@ueiinc.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change and show the date of the latest version at the top. Significant changes are announced on the website.
